Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we’re currently unable to give personal tours of our PreK-12 campus, but the videos below will provide a brief overview of who we are and what we’re about.

Typically, our tours include a chat with your guide – our Admissions Director – who is able to offer additional information and answer any questions you may have, so please CLICK HERE to sign up for a Zoom meeting.

From preschool to high school graduation, the LCS journey is a series of “beginnings.”

We are a private PreK through 12th grade learning community committed to the vision of equipping young men and women to engage and transform the world for Jesus Christ.

What does it mean to live a life of service?

Serving others helps students gain a greater understanding of God’s world and develop a heart for His people. At each grade level students are empowered to apply knowledge and skills to produce real work that meets real needs for real people right here in our very own community and throughout the world.

Opportunities for students to grow in creativity and performance.

In a time when many schools are reducing or eliminating art and music programs, LCS continues to offer a flourishing creative arts program. Educating the whole child prepares them for lives of worship and service to God. We do this by helping students understand, appreciate, and develop the many creative gifts that God has given them.

Opportunities for students to grow in athletic skill and sportsmanship.

LCS provides a PreK through 12th grade athletic program that develops our student-athletes through education and competition. Working within our vision and core values, the athletic program provides a Christian foundation that allows our student-athletes the opportunity to grow personally and faithfully while enjoying a positive athletic experience. LCS participates in MHSAA Division IV / Class D athletics and offers elementary clubs and K-5 Pilgrim Play, a Saturday morning co-ed program designed to develop skills in various sports while learning to play with a positive attitude.

60 Reasons in 60 Seconds!

LCS provides a rich kindergarten experience where students engage in developmentally appropriate learning experiences that develop reading, writing, math, science and problem solving skills, while also providing opportunities to engage in faith development.

Living Out Community at the LCS Fall Spiritual Retreat

A valued tradition at LCS is the annual middle and high school Fall Retreat. Cultivating Christian community among our students and teachers is the focus of these two days away from school. Highlights include team-building activities, community worship, shared meals, time together enjoying the outdoors, campfires, volleyball tournaments, and the senior faith stories that are presented during high school chapel sessions.

What factors determine an excellent education?

Our exceptional faculty help create an engaging and nurturing environment where students can flourish as they discover and develop their God-given gifts and abilities. Our excellent education is founded upon three distinct fundamentals: #1 Active Faith, #2 Resources & Programs, and #3 Affordable Tuition.

Think you can’t afford a quality Christian education? THINK AGAIN!

VARIABLE TUITION is a need-based tuition assistance program that matches a family’s tuition rate to their unique financial situation. This makes a quality Christian education affordable to many qualified students who could not otherwise benefit from our school community.
